Why Should My Church Be Involved?

The purpose of The Man Conference is to encourage and teach men of all ages to get active for the Lord. Men’s Ministry can be challenge for small and large churches. When churches work, learn, play and serve together it shows and breeds harmony. We become one body in Christ, creating positive change in our lives and in our communities.

 

Unfortunately, many churches operate independently when planning ministry events. Imagine if multiple churches joined together for monthly, quarterly and annual fellowship gatherings that would also serve as a large community outreach. The result will be bigger, better, more fruitful events for everyone, with less strain of time and resources from each ministry. Collectively, we will accomplish more together than any one ministry could produce or manage on its own. By leveraging our efforts, we can serve and bear fruit exponentially.

 

Can I Attend On My Own?

Sure you can attend on your own! The Man Conference is for all men ages 13 and up. Single, married or divorced. If you have a son age 13 and up, why not make it a wonderful father-son activity. If you feel you need to get yourself “right”, before you involve your son(s) that is fine also. We would encourage you to invite men in your church and community to attend. They will thank you later. Serving God’s glory is much more effective when we have the support and fellowship of our friends and brothers. If you do not currently have a church you call home, you will benefit enormously by meeting great guys from different local churches who can help you find a church or men’s group that is just right for you.

 

My Son Does Not Have A Father, Can He Still Attend?

Absolutely! If your son does not have a dad in his life, we will connect him with a gentleman attending the event so he won’t be alone. Plus, he is sure to meet others who will stay in touch after the event to provide guidance and encouragement. This is a great opportunity for your son to make new friends and perhaps meet knew role models.

 

Is This Event For a Particular Church Denomination?

Yes, or no. Firstly, men from all “denominations” should attend. More importantly, men who are not believers of Christ are strongly encouraged to attend. We truly believe that we, as a body of Christ, have allowed ourselves to stray from what the Lord intended His church to be. Through man-created denominations, we have allowed division to fragment the church due to things outside of the gospel. If we maintain our focus on Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith (Heb 12:2), and his inerrant Word, we can do substantially more for ourselves, for our communities and most importantly, for God.

 

Can My Church Or Organization Host A Conference?
