What is the Business Alliance?

 

Building your business and getting new customers has become as difficult as ever in today's ultra-competitive environment.  Advertising and public relations are key efforts in winning over new customers, but at the end of the day, the customer will do business with those with whom they are familiar, have a relationship and genuinely like and trust. Factor in that if you are a Christian Businessman you are held to a higher standard.

 

Networking, just like word of mouth and referrals from your best customers, is about building relationships and trust among those you do business.  This means that the networking you do and the networking organization that facilitates the events MUST foster relationship building (not quick sales and transactions among members) while also encouraging members to show their value and genuine interest by helping others just as they want to be helped.  At the same time, you can't be forced to do business with someone you don't trust or genuinely like. That's also why the networking organization should not have exclusivity either.  Why be trapped into who you must work with and to whom you give referrals?  That defeats what networking is about: building trust and relationships.

 

Now, how is Legacy Minded Men Business Alliance (LMMBA) different? Within LMMBA, its members do business with each other by choice - not by mandate. Because people do business with people they trust, period. Members are treated with respect and dignity and are not fined for being late, not bringing guests or not sharing leads. This creates the right environment for sharing contacts, doing business and having a great time. Each event is led by an experienced and trained facilitator.

 

The goal of LMMBA is to create the best setting for networking while offering a range of "plus" services that will assist its members in growing their business through education, motivation and inspiration, all in a Christ centered environment.

 

When you come to an LMMBA event, you can expect to be welcomed by others who are genuinely interested in helping you succeed.  You can expect to hear members connecting one another to professionals outside of that particular event-opening their rolodexes to put each other in touch with great contacts and leads.  You can expect to see members deeply engaged in conversation, getting to understand each other's businesses and ideal prospects in greater detail.  You can expect to feel a great deal of energy as LMMBA meetings typically charge up our members, helping them keep focus and build momentum towards their goals.
