Let’s face it - in our neck of the woods in Northern NJ, there are literally hundreds of jewelers or places selling jewelry, not to mention what’s available on the Internet. ln the midst of all this jewelry chaos, let us sincerely explain why we really are an excellent choice for your diamond ring.

OUR DIAMOND SELLING PROCESS

While there is a tremendous amount of info on diamonds on the web these days, we’ve always offered a hands-on approach to our diamond-buying customers. To read something and to see and touch it physically are two completely different experiences. We teach our customers the hidden innuendos of the diamond market because we feel a knowledgeable customer understands the deal they will get through us. We will show you what you need to know to compare our diamonds against diamonds being offered by others so you can make an educated and confident decision.

Having worked in the Diamond District in New York and the Diamond Bourse in Israel, our depth of experience in the field of diamonds sets us apart from your average diamond source. We may be a small store, but our connections are world-wide.

NO NONSENSE GUARANTEE

We tell it like it is.

We don’t sell you warranties for things that any decent jeweler will do for free.
We don’t expect you to come in every six months for “checking” (which is an excuse to get you in the store to sell you something else) or your paid warranty is invalid. Heck you can come in anytime you like to get this for free!
We don’t adapt standard diamond cuts just to create a “you can only buy this brand cut here” scenario. Companies that do this, do it so that you can’t compare their diamonds to those in other stores, and this then allows them to charge a premium. For the record, usually these are no way as attractive as the original cuts they adapted.
We don’t tell you we have certified diamonds and then claim you don’t need them because they are much more expensive. Lab papers cost about $100 per carat, and you really should buy a diamond with a legitimate laboratory report.
We don’t sell lasered diamonds or diamonds that have been color or clarity enhanced or fracture filled. We will explain all this to you if you come in to see us!
We service what we sell. A lot of stores either won’t work on what they sell (aren’t they claiming to be jewelers??) or they “job it out” to outside jewelers like us!

At any given time we have over a hundred engagement ring designs on display, all of which can be tailored to your tastes. We also carry the designs of several great jewelry manufacturers.

CUSTOM DESIGN

While we stock a huge selection of engagement ring styles, we more often than not create something new and unique for our clients. We use many methods including CAD design explained in our Jewelry Design section of this website to create 3-dimensional images before a item is even made. Then we do the actual design and creation ourselves. Bring us a picture of what you like and we can tailor it to your tastes!

THE INTERNET

The down side of buying the “symbol of your life-long commitment” to someone sight-unseen is that there is a whole list of things you can’t tell about a diamond from a written description of it. The website sure isn’t going to point those things out to you. There is an old Latin saying: “Caveat Emptor” which means: “Let the buyer beware”.

If you have any issues with an Internet jewelry purchase, you know it’s going to be a pain in the you-know-what to send it back and forth until you are happy. There is something to be said about dealing with a Brick and Mortar business where you can go physically to deal face to face with an expert, instead of waiting forever on hold for a low-knowledge telephone customer service rep.

All that being said, years ago we saw the trend towards Internet diamond buying growing. In order to compete, we improved our overseas diamond connections so that our prices are now actually less expensive than those sites. We dare you to come prove us wrong!
