I had a wonderful experience dealing with Boston Louis to purchase my fiancé's engagement ring. Buddy was fair and honest when explaining the prices of the diamonds and settings. My fiancé and I first went for a consultation. Buddy was able to use his computer program to create a beautiful engagement ring with multiple options. In the program he was even able to change skin tone and nail color for you to really get the feel of what the ring would look like. He didn't bring up price even once until I was ready to discuss my budget at a subsequent private meeting. At that meeting Buddy did not pressure me to spend more or to put money down. I visited a few other jewelers to compare and within minutes they wanted a deposit. Over the holidays Buddy built the ring but still had good communication with status updates even though it was a busy period.Boston Louis has a family feel. You can be comfortable that when you're buying something from here, you can take it back in for cleaning and they will remember you.

The whole experience with this jeweler was nothing more than superb. My fiancé bought my ring there so we went back to get his wedding band a month ago and the ring shined a week before the day. Every single time I called or had to go in we were met with smiles and genuine care from all of the staff. I know they worked with my fiancé to make a custom piece for us and I love it so much. They also shined my ring for free and helped me make sure that the size was perfect for the length and width of my finger, considering everything from humidity to whether I will be wearing it with a band or not. Also it was incredibly quick. We went in at 10:15 am and my ring was shined, resized and resized again by 11:05 am. All while exchanging pleasant conversation. Sometimes (quite often in my experience) jewelry sales are curt and not personal. They know you need to get something done and you are going to spend money and they have you in their Palm. I wrote this review because Boston Louis really showed me that this doesn't always have to be the case. They are the perfect opposite of any bad experience I have ever had. I know I will be coming back here for other pieces because the people were great and the jewelry was beautiful. I really feel like they care and understand how important some jewelry pieces are throughout our lives.

I just wanted to take a moment to review a really nice experience I had here when I came in to sell my engagement ring. I written about two reviews in my life, but I think it's worth doing again for this store. In a short nutshell, I felt really good about selling my ring here. I had been to several places to price out the sale, and overall, it was this place that gave me the best price. It wasn't just that though, it was that while working with Kenny (one of the owners), he took the time to review what the current prices of diamonds are selling for, and in turn, gave me what I considered to be a fair price (and about $500 more than the "we sell gold" rip-off place on Route 23 south by the mini golf place, don't ever go there). Kenny was professional and kind and the best way I have to describe it is that I felt "good" about being there, like I knew I didn't get ripped off and was working with a genuine person. Their store is also well kept.
All in all, two big thumbs up...great experience here.

Best in the business! My engagement ring prong had worn away and other jewelers were quoting 3x's the price to fix. Kenny not only spent 2 weeks researching the best basket to replace the existing diamond, he provided me with a total price that was far less than everyone else. He really knows his diamonds and enjoys working with customers. I ended up buying my husband a new wedding band and again, was blown away at the price and gorgeous band he was able to provide based on a simple description. Thank you Boston Louis!

Boston Louis Jewelers has been a long time favorite of mine but after my last experience, I thought it only appropriate to write a review. I was shopping for my wedding ring and found a style that I liked online: an eternity bank with staggered diamonds. As I didn't know the quality of the stones, I was a bit nervous to order online and shell out $5K for something I had no real way of measuring the quality of. I took a picture to Ken and he told me it would take a few weeks, but he could custom make it for me. We talked about price and he said he could match what I had found online so we moved forward. Well, a couple weeks later he called me in to try on the cast - it looked very strange, but fit. After I gave the go ahead on the size, the ring was cast and diamonds set. When I picked up the ring I could not have been more excited. It was spectacular and absolutely perfect! To top it all off, the price quoted to me originally ended up being a bit MORE than what he actually charged me. With how the ring turned out, I would have been happy to pay more. It was a flawless experience and I will certainly send my husband there for my push present! Haha!!

My fiancé proposed with his grandmothers 1920s vintage Tiffany ring. I loved it but knew it was too tight. I was nervous about bringing a platinum ring to any jeweler to be resized so I didn't do anything about it.Fast forward to a month before the wedding. My fiance's grandma's matching wedding band didn't even fit my finger. It was platinum with diamonds all around and I couldn't imagine how to enlarge it without redesigning a completely new ring. I brought both into Boston Louis jewelers. Ken measured my finger for the right sizing and also measured the rings. I was squeezing a ring a full size too small on my hand! He assured me that his team would be able to resize both rings in time for the wedding. I had seen much of their custom work so knew that if the worse had to happen- they had to create a completely new band- it would be almost identical to the original. When I picked them up this weekend, I couldn't believe how perfect they were!! They didn't need to create a new ring; they were able to resize it perfectly to my hand.The rings were sparkling clean and looked gorgeous. For anyone with vintage pieces that are sentimental to you, I encourage you to trust the work of the amazing team at Boston Louis. I can't wait to wear mine everyday!

He takes the time and goes over all the details with you and what you are looking for within your budget. The best was asking for a pinkkkkkk stone, which is my favorite color. Ken found me the exact pinkkkkkkk stone I was looking for and once I approved of the color, together we picked out the perfect setting/shank for my pinkkkkkk stone. It is my absolutely favorite ring. My husband and I have had wonderful experiences with Ken and his staff since 2011. We first came in to have a wedding band made to match a unique vintage engagement ring and the results were beautiful. They were also great when trying to fit my husband with his wedding band and made multiple attempts to get just the perfect fit! Most recently we came in to sell some gold jewelry and silver coins to help cover expenses related to an unfortunate medical diagnosis. Ken was patient and understanding while spending about 3 hours with us as we sorted through the jewelry and coins, trying to go over every detail to provide us with the best deal. He even made suggestions about items to keep that would have more sentimental value than monetary. As well as removing all of the stones from the jewelry for us to keep so we could make items out of them in the future. Kudos to Ken and his staff for all they have done!

The absolute best!! While shopping for an engagement ring my oldest sister suggested that I head over to Boston Louis. This turned out to be the greatest suggestion. Meeting Kenny for the first time was a great experience. He was excited to sit with me and share his knowledge on diamonds and explain what makes one more valuable than the other. Kenny noted what style ring I was looking for and searched all over to find the one. We came across a style that I really liked but being picky as I am, there were some things I wanted changed. Kenny said it would be no problem and he could easily duplicate the ring with my changes. in the end I got a custom band with bigger stones and better build for about $1500 less than what the original band was selling for! It blew my mind how much more value I got for my money, and it came along with outstanding customer service. Throughout the whole process Kenny sent me emails with pictures and updates of him designing and tweaking my custom design. Keeping me informed every step of the way. Kenny was extremely informative and helpful and I highly recommend Boston Louis if you are in the market for an engagement ring. They were fantastic and I am extremely happy with the one of a kind ring that they created for me.

I've spent the last 5 months on line doing research for an engagement ring. I just bought one at Boston Louis and here is why: These guys know their stuff. They spent a long time showing me how to look at diamonds and understand the 4C's, and even showed me some really important things that I never heard about on the Internet. They didn't waste my time. The diamonds they showed me were all exceptionally cut and priced as good or better than anything I had seen on line. When my now fiancé and I started dating she jokingly showed me a picture she kept in her purse of the ring of her dreams. Well it was the ring of my nightmares because no one out there had anything like it! Well this part is cool - Boston Louis has a jewelry design computer right in the store, and they were able to create that impossible to find ring right in front of me! What could I say after that? My wife and her mother were shopping at Helzberg Diamonds when the salesperson asked if my wife would like her to clean her engagement ring. When the salesperson came back she told my wife that her ring needed repair. My wife luckily decided not to get the work done after the salesperson gave her a price and changed what was wrong with the ring every time she looked at it. When she got home we brought the ring to Boston Louis Jewelers to be looked at and fixed. We met Ken who told us that there was nothing wrong with the ring and saved us a large amount of money on repairs that were not needed. My wife and I have been going to Boston Louis forever. Kenny and Louis have always provided excellent jewelry for all occasionally. Occasionally, I would buy Maryanne a piece that she did not like. She would bring it back to exchange it for something else and Kenny or Louis would oblige her without question.I inherited a Celtic Cross necklace with an emerald in the middle and wanted to give Maryanne a copy. Boston Louis made a mold of the cross and made an identical cross, all within a few weeks. A few years later, I asked them to make another one with a 16 inscribed within a heart on the back for my niece's sweet sixteen birthday.
